Online therapy is an alternative approach to office based therapy where you can receive therapy in real time with a psychologist through your computer or phone. For successful video conferencing, it is generally recommended that you have a computer with a web camera, a microphone or headset, and a fast internet connection. Online therapy can also be provided through Video Skype or FaceTime through your phone.

Is it confidential?

Therapy will be provided through a secure and confidential web cam service that abides with all privacy protection laws. 

Who is it appropriate for?

It is appropriate for anyone who is struggling with emotional issues and wants the support and a safe place to explore their issues to achieve wellness and balance in their life. It is also ideal for people who want therapy in the comfort of their own home.

What if I live outside the United States?

You do not have to reside in the United States to receive this service. People from all over the world can access this service as long as it does not interfere with licensure laws in the country you live in. 

What If I live in the United States?

If you are a resident in the U.S., state licensing laws do not allow out-of-state psychologists to provide online psychotherapy to consumers. Since Dr. Razzouk is licensed only in the State of New Jersey, only New Jersey residents can access this service.

How do I get started?

Just email Dr. Razzouk at Dr.Razzouk@havenpsychotherapy.com and ask for a consultation. Dr. Razzouk in turn, will respond to your email and provide you with details of appointments, fees, and address any concerns or questions you may have. 

Is online therapy covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, online therapy otherwise known as telepsychology is not covered by insurance at this time. Stay tuned for updates on this issue..
